Chanel Gabrielle Hobo Bag.
The Chanel Gabrielle bag was launched in 2017 by Karl Lagerfeld, named for Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Said to be inspired by both vintage binocular cases and Virtual Reality glasses, it features a structured, rigid base, a soft diamond matelassé quilt body, and double-chain strap for versatile wear. The collection was unexpectedly discontinued in early 2023, making pre-loved Gabrielle bags highly sought after.
Circa 2019 this Gabrielle Hobo bag is made from a combo of structured smooth chocolate leather base and a contrasting aged beige diamond matelassé leather body. The bag has multi-tone gunmetal grey and bright gold hardware and a top zip closure with an oversized zip pull tab with a gold-tone interlocking CC logo detail. The inside is lined with a red textile with one zip pocket and three slip pockets. The shoulder straps are made from multi-tone chains woven with tonal chocolate leather and slide, to wear the bag at a variety of lengths.
