The Chanel 5171 Bow Sunglasses debuted as part of the brand's dedicated Fall/Winter 2010 Eyewear Campaign. The official ad campaign was shot by Karl Lagerfeld and starred supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen. The sunglasses feature a soft, oversized square/butterfly frame made from glossy black acetate, with gradient grey lenses and an asymmetrical, three-dimensional rigid white bow accenting each hinge temple, finished with a subtle silver-tone metal interlocking CC logo at the centre knot.
