Chanel Small 225 Reissue 2.55 Bag. 

Introduced in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original flap bag, the 2.55 Reissue bag maintains the same revolutionary design elements introduced by Coco Chanel in 1955 – most notably the practical and liberating shoulder strap.

The Chanel 19A Paris-New York Egyptian Collection known as "Egypt" was Karl Lagerfeld's 2018/2019 Métiers d’art collection, and one of his final collections for the House before his passing. The collection featured predominately back and gold accessories, with a mix of animal skin textures, graffiti detailing and Egyptian inspired costume jewellery. 

This is a limited edition Reissue 2.55 bag from the 2019 collection, featuring a mix of black diamond-quilted leather and a centre panel of metallic gold crocodile-embossed calfskin. It features gold-tone hot stamping and hardware including the signature Mademoiselle turn lock, and the sliding bijoux chain strap which can be worn at two different lengths.

It has one large external slip pocket on the back, a double flap closure, and inside, is lined with smooth black leather. There is a small zip pocket in the flap, a front slip pocket and three small open top internal compartments.
