From the Chanel Pre-Fall 2017 (17B) "Paris Cosmopolite" Métiers d'Art Collection, this jacket and midi skirt set was released as a commercial collection piece and featured in the official campaign advertisement for that season. In Chanel's seasonal releases, Karl Lagerfeld frequently designed a core selection of avant-garde statements specifically for the runway show, accompanied by highly detailed, matching companion pieces – like this set – created for the accompanying ad campaign and boutique distribution.
