Chanel 31 Mini Shopping Bag.
Originally introduced in a oversized tote silhouette by Karl Lagerfeld for the Fall/Winter 2018 collection, the design pays homage to the legendary house boutique address at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris. The uniquely sculpted upper cutout arch is directly inspired by the architectural framework of the boutique's historic entrance door. The bag has a top handle and dual shoulder straps, one made from plain leather and the other, a leather woven chain strap. Inside, the bag is lined with black cotton textile, with a leather key lanyard, and a zip pocket. The bag features a gold-tone interlocking CC turnlock closure.
The 31 Shopping Bag has been re-imagined in spotted ponyhair by Matthieu Blazy in his Métiers d’art 2026 Collection.
