Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis is a glossy patent leather line featuring the embossed LV monogram. Introduced in 1998 as part of Marc Jacobs’ debut collection for Louis Vuitton, the French word "vernis" means varnish, reflecting the mirror-like, high-shine finish.
From the Marc Jacobs era, this Louis Vuitton Roxbury Drive bag is crafted from crafted from glossy red Monogram Vernis patent leather, with natural Vachetta leather trim and gold-tone hardware. The bag has a top handle, detachable shoulder strap and press-stud closure. Inside, the bag is lined with red textile, with a gold-tone D-ring and one slip pocket.
