1. Clear it out.
Go through your current wardrobe. Pick out anything you didn't wear in the cooler months, or that you're ready to part with. Seperate into two piles: one to consign/sell, and one to donate.
TIS Tip: Make sure anything you're going to consign/sell is clean.
2. Storage time.
Anything you're not ready to part with, can be put into storage. Into tubs (or your preferred storage) put everything you think you'll wear next time the Autumn/Winter season rolls around. Make sure you leave yourself some trans-seasonal pieces for layering on unexpected cooler days and nights, and any classic or favourite pieces you wear year round.
TIS Tip: Don't forget to label the boxes to help future-you work out what's-what!
3. Shoe swap out.
Take out any heavier, darker toned shoes, boots and winter textures (shearling, etc.) and replace with your sandals and ballet flats.
4. Onto the clothes.
Replace with your Spring/Summer pieces, and organise. This is a great opportunity for another cull. Anything from last Spring/Summer that no longer sparks joy can be added to your consign/sell and donate piles.
TIS Tip: Using good quality hangers and colour coordinating your wardrobe not only makes your clothes look beautiful, it also makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier.
