Description
Chanel VIP Grand Shopping Tote.
This is a rare, stylised version of the Chanel Shopping Tote, created by Karl Lagerfeld. The Gabrielle Collection features a distinctive structured solid bottom base contrasted against a slouchy diamond-quilted calfskin body, and debuted during the "technology" themed Spring / Summer 2017 Ready-to-Wear runway show at the Grand Palais in Paris. The shape of the bag is based on the shape of a binoculars case, or a VR mask case.
This Chanel tote is made from black patent leather and soft black leather with a metallic sheen, with silver-tone hardware, leather woven chain-link detachable shoulder straps, a zip top closure and protective metal feet on the base. The bag is lined with black grosgrain, and has two slip pockets and one zip pocket.
