With a name referring to a symbolic number for the House, the CHANEL 19 handbag stands out with its ‘gourmette’ chain strap combining silver, ruthenium and aged gold finishes, and its XL double C turnlock clasp laced with leather. - Chanel
The Chanel 19 Bag was launched in March of 2019, designed by Virginie Viard and Karl Lagerfeld, making it his final major handbag design. The bag blends classic Chanel elements with a modern edge, featuring oversized quilting, a slouchy structure, and mixed metal hardware.
Circa 2020, this small 19 bag is crafted from caramel brown lambskin leather in a diamond matelassé quilt, and features the 19's signature mixed metal hardware: gold-tone, silver-tone and ruthenium-finish, including a gold-tone chain handle, a mixed metal and leather woven shoulder strap with flat leather shoulder pad, and an oversized leather laced gold-tone chain interlocking CC logo turn lock. Inside, the bag is lined with a tonal caramel brown cotton textile and has one zip pocket.
