Louis Vuitton New Wave Chain Bag MM.
The collection initially debuted in July 2018 under the creative theme of the 1980s. Its name is a direct nod to the New Wave music genre of that era. The signature undulating "wave" quilting is directly inspired by an archival Louis Vuitton trunk from 1854. That original trunk featured a striking, multicoloured graphic wave motif painted on it.
The New Wave is crafted from smooth, puffy quilted leather with gold-tone hardware and a sliding chain and leather shoulder strap. Inside, the bag is lined with a microfibre textile, with dual compartments separated by a central zip pocket, with one slip pocket.
