Hermès Lindy 34.
The Lindy is named for the Lindy Hop, a swing dance move popularised in the 1930s and evident in the 'swinging' movement from the dual side handles, the choice of soft, supple leather, and the overall shape of the bag.
Unlike traditional structured bags, the tubular top handles are attached to the side gussets rather than the top panel, which creates the relaxed, unstructured silhouette the Lindy is known for. The bag features dual-zipper closure on the sides which meet at a central turnlock or clou de selle. Inside there are two interior slip pockets, two deep exterior side pockets and protective metal feet on the base.
Hermès Clémence leather (Veau Taurillon Clémence) is a heavy, durable bull-calf leather introduced in the 1990s, prized for its soft texture, matte finish, and relaxed slouch.
