From the 2013 métiers d'art collection, this limited edition Chanel Paris-Edinburgh Chainmail bag is a rare collector’s piece, blending metallic chainmail with the house’s iconic Boy silhouette. The collection was shown Linlithgow Palace, where Mary, Queen of Scots, was born, and featured tartan, kilts, and knits, through the lens of Karl Lagerfeld.
The bag has all the classic Boy features, the curb edging, square Lego interlocking CC lock and adjustable chain and leather shoulder strap, plus a tactile chainmail detail on the flap. It has aged silver-hardware. Inside, the bag is lined with black grosgrain and has a single slip pocket.
