Hermès Yachting Beach Towel.
Green cotton Hermès Yachting Beach Towel with brand signature "Tatoo Thalassa" motif, fringe trim at hem and brand label at reverse.
Created in 1973 by Pierre Peron, the "Thalassa" design depicts a tangle of small boats. The name comes from the Greek goddess of the sea. The motif is created by depigmentation technique that consists of depigmenting the fabric (rather than colouring it) in order to reveal the image.
