The Chanel Airlines Round Trip Bowling Bag originally debuted as a core commercial piece for the highly celebrated Spring/Summer 2016 "Chanel Airlines" runway collection. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld, the entire Paris runway show transformed the Grand Palais into an elaborate airport terminal called "Chanel Airlines" (Gate No. 5, naturally), where models walked the floor carrying flight-themed luggage, trolleys, and travel bags. While the runway featured highly stylised, colourful versions of the bag decorated with arrows, airplane prints, and graphic multi-colour canvas, this black quilted calfskin edition was a luxurious, versatile consumer release from the same aviation-inspired aviation capsule.
The half moon shaped domed duffle bag is made from quilted textured calfskin, with a rolled soft handle, shoulder strap, and a back sleeve which can slide over your suitcase's telescopic handle.
